Localization

Feb 2, 2012 at 11:09 AM

Hi,

I would like to use weekdays and months in my language. I saw that example at  www.highcharts.com. I investigate but I have no idea with the usage of this in Highcharts.net. How can I set month names in my language with Highcharts.net ?

Highcharts.setOptions({
    lang
: {
        weekdays
: ['Dimanche', 'Lundi', 'Mardi', 'Mercredi', 'Jeudi', 'Vendredi', 'Samedi']
} });

Thanks

Hi esprit,

Localization of charts is something that is not possible under the current C# API. However, I am working to add the functionality, and it should be available in a couple of days from under the latest changeset. Your other query regarding the text of the export button will also be addressed in the same set of changes.

I'll let you know once I am done making the change.

Hi esprit,

Localization is now supported in the latest changeset [16792] available here.

Sample usage of the same is :

hcVendas.Lang = new Localization() { weekdays = new string[] {

"Dimanche", "Lundi", "Mardi", "Mercredi", "Jeudi", "Vendredi", "Samedi"

}};

The new option for localization should also allow you to override the text value of various buttons on the chart [Discussion]. Please let us know if you continue to face any problems.

Regards,

Rahul
